We apply a baked on catalyzed varnish to protect and enhance the natural beauty of the wood.  Extra care is taken to assure a uniform finish.  For more information click here.

Wood Characteristics and How They Affect the Look of Your Doors
Like fingerprints, characteristic differences in color and grain are produced by nature in every tree.  These variations are what create the beauty and interest found in wood.  The variations in color, grain and texture will cause variation in the finish, even though identical finishing processes are applied.  These variations are considered a natural characteristic of hardwood and are not a defect.  We hope that you will appreciate and enjoy this beauty.

Please Note:
We offer multiple finish options for Select Red Oak, Select Maple, Select Cherry and Select Alder. Our painted finishes are available on Paint Grade only. All other wood species are available unfinished or with our top quality clear coat stain with hardener and UV protection built in.
